Currently, my primary form of writing is book reviews. I most enjoy reading nonfiction books that highlight underrepresented stories and viewpoints.
I also used to write two different Substack newsletters: …and the meal and The Brain Patio. They’ve been on indefinite hiatus for a few years now. Will they make a comeback? Stay tuned.
As for my day job, I’ve been a member of the marketing and editorial team at Porchlight Book Company since 2022. (Hence, the writing of book reviews.)
I earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history with a minor in writing-intensive English from Marquette University. I also hold a master’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
